Join an AAOS Evaluation Committee: Give Back While Advancing Your Knowledge

Are you passionate about staying at the forefront of orthopaedic knowledge while giving back to the profession? AAOS is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve on its Evaluation Committees.

As a committee member, you will gain valuable experience in test-question development, as well as refine your research and analytical skills. You will collaborate with peers in your specialty area, engaging in meaningful discussions during the item-review process. Plus, your contributions will not go unrewarded—committee members receive CME credit and a complimentary Self-Assessment Examination upon completion of service.

Committee work is designed to be flexible, with tasks spread out over the course of your appointment, allowing you to contribute in a way that fits your schedule. Currently, AAOS has openings in the following specialty areas:

Education Assessments and Examinations (Orthopaedic In-Training Examination®)

  • 1 Hand and Wrist position
  • 1 Hip and Knee position
  • 1 Oncology position
  • 1 Shoulder and Elbow position
  • 1 Spine position

Foot and Ankle Evaluation Committee (Foot and Ankle Self-Assessment Examination)

Fundamentals Evaluation Committee (Orthopaedic Fundamentals Self-Assessment Examination)
