OrthoPitch returns to the AAOS 2026 Annual Meeting, offering attendees a front-row seat to emerging innovation in orthopaedic technology, devices, and services.
Designed to spotlight disruptors and innovators, OrthoPitch provides a platform for entrepreneurs to pitch their concepts directly to a panel of expert judges, and a live audience plays a role in determining the winner.
This fast-paced session highlights cutting-edge technologies and creative problem-solving across the orthopaedic space. Each presentation is designed to be concise and impactful, allowing you to explore multiple innovations in a short amount of time.
Meet the 2026 OrthoPitch finalists
Selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants, the 2026 OrthoPitch finalists represent a diverse range of technologies poised to shape the future of musculoskeletal care. Submissions were evaluated by the AAOS Committee on Devices, Biologics, and Technology based on unmet clinical need, potential impact on patient care, strength of evidence, and pathways to clinical adoption.
- CLARO Surgical - ORTHO-MR
CLARO Surgical is the company behind ORTHO-MR, the world's first FDA-registered, AI-powered mixed reality platform for orthopaedic surgery. ORTHO-MR makes trauma procedures safer and faster by eliminating the need for intraoperative radiographs during critical locking steps in intramedullary nailing, percutaneous plating, and related procedures, using real-time 3D holographic guidance. - MY01 - Continuous Perfusion Sensing Technology
Founded in 2019 and based in Montreal, MY01 envisions a world where every disease is quantifiable, enabling precise and personalized care for all patients. The company's goal is to enhance the quality and outcomes of trauma care by using advanced technology to minimize variations in treatment. Specializing in the management of compartment syndrome, the Continuous Perfusion Sensing Technology (CPST) platform aims to transform trauma programs by (1) converting complex biological signs into dynamic, actionable, real-time data to facilitate better decision making, (2) reducing variation in care, and (3) delivering better outcomes, thereby allowing hospitals to allocate resources as efficiently as possible. - Sonogen Medical, Inc. - Ultrasonic Fracture Assessment
Sonogen is developing a portable, inexpensive, and radiation-free ultrasound device that can diagnose bone fractures and monitor the fracture healing process safely, in real time, and without specialized imaging expertise. - StabilityIQ - Re-Kinesis
This device brings reliable gait and balance testing to the clinic, providing longitudinal, full-leg kinematic data to patients with gait-impacting pathologies without requiring a dedicated gait lab.
Innovation continues with the Investment Forum
Before OrthoPitch begins, attendees can deepen their perspective on orthopaedic innovation by attending the Investment Forum, taking place Tuesday in Great Hall B from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. The Forum explores trends shaping the medtech landscape and offers insights into how companies grow from early-stage ventures into established market leaders.
Together, the Investment Forum and OrthoPitch create a full afternoon and evening dedicated to innovation — connecting ideas, investment, and clinical impact in one place.
