    AAOS Member Categories:  AAOS Fellow, Candidate, Resident, Emeritus, Associate, PA, International, International Resident.

    Early Bird (Oct. 24 - Dec. 14):   $100
    Advance (Dec. 15 - Jan. 31):  $100
    Standard(Feb. 1 - Mar. 16):  $250

    Family Badge:  Members Only. One complimentary badge per member. Defined as spouse, significant other, or immediate family member who is not an active orthopeadic professional.

    Member Rate Requirements:   Members must be in good standing and have paid 2019 dues by the Annual Meeting to receive member registration rates. New member applications must be received by the Membership Department by February 28, 2019 and dues paid by the Annual Meeting to receive membership rates.

    Participant Status:  These individuals have been selected and notified by the Academy as an official Annual Meeting participant.

    Non-Member Physician:  Practicing physician who treats patients in an office-like setting in the U.S.

    Required:  Signed and currently dated letter from your orthopeadic employer. Letter must be on official letterhead and state that you are a current employee and include your purpose for attending the meeting.

    Non-Member Physician:  Individuals such as researchers/PhD, scientists, CEO, COO, Director level titles, legal counsel, purchasers, marketers, and public media personnel working in the field of orthopeadics. Academy approval is required.

    Non-Member Industry Research & Development Personnel:  Limited to exhibiting company personnel attending for educational purpose only and not working in the booth nor engaging in other business activities. Academy approval is required.

    Required:  Signed letter from the exhibiting company.

    International Medical Attendee:  Orthopeadic surgeons, allied health or medical professionals not practicing or living in the U.S.

    Standard(Feb. 1 - Mar. 16):  $975


    U.S. Allied Health: Must work in an orthopeadic practice or institution and provide hands on patient care. For example, RN, LPN, NP, PA, PA-C, ATC, CTO, CST, OTC, DPT, PT.

    Advance (Dec. 15 - Jan. 31):  $450
    Standard(Feb. 1 - Mar. 16):  $500

    Required:  Copy of your current medical license.

    Required:  Signed and currently dated letter of sponsorship from your employing physician or institution.

    U.S. Orthopaedic Practice Staff:  Must work in an orthopaedic practice or institution and provide patient services.  This category includes:  practice administrator, office manager, office assistant, medical records and insurance billing and coding staff. 

    Early Bird (Oct. 24 - Dec. 14):  $300
    Advance (Dec. 15 - Jan. 31):  $450
    Standard(Feb. 1 - Mar. 16):  $500

    This category is not for physicians researchers/PhD, scientists, purchasers, CEO, COO, director level titles, industry representatives, marketers, public media personnel. 

    Required:  Signed and currently dated letter from your employing physician. Letter must be on practice letterhead and state that you are currently employed.  Letter must also state your role in the practice and reason for attending the meeting.                    

    AAOS Career Center Participant:  Academy approval is required. This category is limited to hiring employers who have an active Career Center listing on the AAOS website.

    Early Bird (Oct. 24 - Dec. 14):  $300
    Advance (Dec. 15 - Jan. 31):  $450
    Standard(Feb. 1 - Mar. 16):  $500


    U.S. Fellow-in-training or U.S. Resident-in-training:  Academy approval is required. Only Orthopeadics Fellowships or Residency Programs qualify for this category.

    Required:  Letter from your Chief of Service on hospital letterhead stating what type of fellowship/residency you are enrolled in along with the year of enrollment. Please email these documents to meeting@aaos.org.

    Industry Non-Exhibitor:  Individuals such as Equipment Distributors/Manufacturers, Finial Analysts, Health Care Consultants, Investment Brokers/Bankers, and potential Exhibitors. There is no provisions for daily or partial registration during the meeting. Academy approval is required, and access is limited to the Exhibit Hall.     Exhibitor:  Individuals employed by an exhibiting company will be registered through their company. The exhibitor's badge allows admittance to the exhibit halls, and on a space available basis to the scientific exhibits, posters, general sessions, symposia, and paper presentations. If available, instructional course tickets may be purchased on-site on the day of the course.


    Beware of Fraudulent Registration Companies!


    Every year fraudulent companies contact AAOS attendees offering assistance with registration and monetary conversions.
    The official AAOS registration website can only be secured through www.aaos.org/register.

Make sure your private information is secured and protected – Only provide your credit card information or send money to the official AAOS registration company (Convention Data Services) or to an AAOS Staff member in the Convention and Exhibits department.
