Non-Member & Non-Allied Health Professionals

Individuals such as researchers/PhD, scientists, CEO, COO, director level titles, legal counsel, purchasers, marketers, and public media personnnel working in the field of orthopaedics. Academy approval is required.

Required: Signed and currently dated letter from your orthopaedic employer. The letter must be on official letterhead and state that you are a current employee and include your purpose for attending the meeting. 

 
 

Non-Member First-time Attendees

First-time non-member attendees need approval before registering. Please provide documentation that confirms your professional status so we can get you set up.

Non-Member Medical Students

Medical students who wish to attend the meeting must be AAOS Members. After your AAOS membership is approved, you will be able to proceed to the registering for AAOS 2026. For membership questions, contact join@aaos.org or call 1-800-626-6727 for assistance.

Please note that if you'd like to participate in the Medical Student Program on Tuesday, March 3, you must add it to your registration.

Industry Non-Exhibitor Attendees

The AAOS Annual Meeting is for medical professionals. As a courtesy, up to two representatives from a non-exhibiting commercial company may attend under the Industry Non-Exhibitor category, pending review and approval by the Exhibits Committee. Approval is not guaranteed.

Eligible individuals include equipment distributors/manufacturers (with a letter from an exhibiting company), financial analysts, healthcare affiliates, investment brokers/bankers, and one-time potential exhibitors. Registration grants access to industry exhibits only; educational sessions are not included.

Non-exhibitors may not promote products, solicit business, or distribute materials. Violations will result in removal and badge forfeiture. Companies that currently exhibit, have exhibited, or cancelled an exhibit may not register as Industry Non-Exhibitors.
