What Is the AAOS Resident Bowl?
The AAOS Resident Bowl is a fun, social event held during the AAOS Annual Meeting. Orthopaedic residents team up to compete in a live trivia challenge featuring orthopaedic and general knowledge questions. It’s a great way to test your skills, connect with peers, enjoy free food and drinks, and win exciting prizes!

Step 1: Register for AAOS Annual Meeting
Registration for the Annual Meeting is required for this event. Please make sure to register for the Annual Meeting prior to signing up for the Resident Bowl. CME credit not available for this session.
Step 2: Sign up for Resident Bowl
You can either form a team with your friends/fellow residents, or be assigned to a team. Sign up now!
Step 3: Invite Your Friends to Watch
There will be additional seating for an audience, so please encourage others who may not be participating in the Resident Bowl to attend and cheer you and your team on!
AAOS Resident Bowl Prizes
Beyond bragging rights, the AAOS 2026 winners will receive the following prizes:
- First Place: Free registration to either the Part I or Part II Board Prep and Review Course, a $100 Amazon gift card for each player, and an invitation to the President’s Reception on Wednesday night.
- Second Place: Discounted rate of 50% off either the Part I or Part II BPR course of their choice and a $50 Amazon gift card foreach player.
