About the Meeting
The AAOS Annual Meeting is the largest and most comprehensive orthopaedic educational experience in the world. Orthopaedic professionals from around the globe attend in pursuit of the latest clinical, scientific, surgical technology and practice management knowledge and expertise.
How to Register
AAOS 2023 registration opens November 9.
If you are an AAOS member, you can register online by clicking on the Member/Returning Attendees registration button and using your account log in information. Your member savings will automatically be updated in your cart when you checkout.
If you are not an AAOS member and you have not previously registered for the AAOS Annual Meeting, approval is required. Please fill out the Approval To Attend form, and you will be contacted within 24-48 hours with additional registration instructions.
Plan ahead! Submit your application form now so that you are approved and ready to register by the time online registration opens on November 9. Note that, depending on your role, you will be asked to upload documentation such as your license/certification # and/or a signed letter of sponsorship from your employer or sponsoring orthopaedic.
Your registration includes access to premier education, and Instruction Course Lecture (ICL) and Specialty Society Program tickets can be added to your registration for an additoinal cost.

AAOS Annual Meeting Terms Explained
Before you know it, you’ll be an AAOS Annual Meeting insider. In the meantime, here is a quick overview of some of the acronyms and titles you can expect to hear and what they all mean.

Annual Meeting Attire
When planning for your trip to the AAOS Annual Meeting, note that most attendees wear business professional attire. Comfortable shoes are recommended so you can cover as much ground as possible attending education sessions and visiting exhibits!

The AAOS Annual Meeting is a private meeting. The AAOS reserves the right to control meeting space and may, at its sole discretion, remove persons from the meeting who are not registered, who do not meet attendance requirements or who cause disruptions.
