Where is the AAOS 2020 Annual Meeting?

The AAOS 2020 Annual Meeting will be held in Orlando, Florida within the Orange County Convention Center -- West Building - 9800 International Drive.

What are the registration cancellation policies?

To cancel your entire registration, including courses, tracks, and On Demand, an email request for a full refund must be received in the Academy office before February 14, 2020 (11:59 PM CST). After this date, no refunds will be accepted.

How do I register?

Member/Returning Non-Member: You need your Member ID and password to login. Please email customer service at if you have forgotten your login information.

First time attending: You need to request approval to attend the meeting. Please complete the Request Approval to Attend here. Once completed, you will be contacted within 48-72 hours if you have been approved or if more information is needed. If approved, you will receive registration login information and a registration packet will be mailed out to you.

What is Annual Meeting On Demand?

AAOS Annual Meeting is a busy few days — attending sessions, networking with colleagues and exploring the Exhibit Hall. Now you can own the sessions you attended plus the many you couldn’t fit in! Extend your learning past the meeting! AAOS 2020 Annual Meeting On Demand includes over 500 hours of educational meeting content in an online library that you can watch anytime, anywhere.

When will I receive my badge and tickets?

Badges Will Not be Mailed - Attendees must present an electronic or printed copy of their registration confirmation at the check-in counters located in the Orange County Convention Center, West Building, Level 1 and Hall D Lobbies.

New for 2020, all purchased sessions, except for Specialty Day, will be programmed to your attendee badge and the QR code will be scanned at the session room door to gain entry. This is not related to your CME credits. 

Family Badge

AAOS members receive one complimentary family badge that may be used by a spouse, significant other, or immediate family member (not an active medical professional). You may pre-register a family member during online registration or on-site. All family badge recipients must be accompanied by the registered AAOS member and present an ID to receive a family badge.

Family Badge attendees 16 years and older have access to the following:

  • Academy Hall
  • Industry Exhibits
  • Your Academy/Guest Speaker

Family Badge attendees under 16 years have access to Academy Hall, providing they are not disruptive to surrounding activities.

Please note: Family Badge attendees will not have access to any educational sessions or events.
