ELIGIBILITY

Do you qualify to apply?

To be eligible for AAOS Medical Student Membership, you must meet the following requirements: 

  • Enrolled in a medical school accredited by the LCME, AOA, the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada, or WFME 

  • Interested in a career in orthopaedics

The application takes about 15 minutes if your documents are gathered ahead of time.

Most applicants complete the form in one or two sittings — you can save and pick back up anytime within 30 days.

Complete your application and pay the one-time $75 application fee. It takes about 15 minutes, and you can save your progress and finish later.

Application Review

The Membership Team reviews applications weekly.

Approval

Once the Membership Team approves your application, your benefits are available right away.
