How do I register?
Member/Returning Non-Member: Go to www.aaos.org/register to register. You will need your Member ID and password to login. Please email customerservice@aaos.org if you have forgotten your login information.

If this is the first time you'll be attending AAOS Annual Meeting, you must request approval to attend the meeting. Please complete the Request Approval form to attend. Once completed, you will be contacted within 2-3 business days if you have been approved or if more information is needed. Once approved, you will receive registration login information and additional meeting details.

How do I register my Group for the meeting?
A registration page for groups is available for the meeting. The key contact person for the group will be required to have login information to manage all the registrants in the group. Go to www.aaos.org/register, click on the “Member and Non-member- Register Now” button, then the Group Registration button. Follow the instructions to continue.

When is Specialty Day?
Specialty Day is on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

When does registration open?
Member registration opens Nov. 3, 2021.

Non-Member registration opens Nov. 10, 2021.

What are the registration and course rates for the meeting?

Where do I go to check-in to the meeting and get my badge?
• Registration check-in counters in McCormick Place, Hall B or South Level 1 Lobby
• Hotel satellite locations – TBD

What is the meeting refund policy?

  1. Registration refund deadline: February 18, 2022.
  2. Please submit your written requests for refunds (registration, courses, and/or specialty society sessions) to AAOSMeeting@xpressreg.net.
  3. After this date, no refunds are available.

What is the meeting cancellation policy?

  1. Registration change or cancellation deadline: February 18, 2022.
  2. To cancel your registration, selected courses, specialty sessions, please submit your written request to AAOSMeeting@xpressreg.net.
  3. After this date, course exchanges or additions need to be done on-site and are charged the on-site course fee.

How many CME credits are available for the meeting?
We are still finalizing the educational programming for our 2022 Annual Meeting. Details on CME credit will be available in early 2022.

CME Certificate of Attendance Kiosks:
While you are at the meeting, print your CME Certificate of Attendance for the AAOS and participating Specialty Societies.

AAOS CME Transcript:
The transcript system is an honor system. You will be able to log your CME credits into your transcripts approximately 2 weeks after the meeting. Physicians should claim only the number of credits for the learning activities at the Annual Meeting in which they actively participated.

What do I need to do if I am attending the meeting for the first time?
If this is the first time you'll be attending the AAOS Annual Meeting, you must request approval to attend the meeting. Please complete the Request Approval form to attend. Once approved, you will receive registration login information and additional meeting details.

Can family members attend the meeting?
AAOS members receive one complimentary family badge that may be used by a spouse, significant other, or immediate family member (not an active medical professional). You may pre-register a family member during online registration or on-site. All Family Badge recipients must be accompanied by the registered AAOS member and present an ID to receive a family badge. Family Badge attendees 16 years and older have access to the following:
           o Academy Hall
           o Industry Exhibits
           o Your Academy/Guest Speaker

Family Badge attendees under 16 have access to Academy Hall, providing they are not disruptive to surrounding activities.

Please note: Family Badge attendees will not have access to any educational sessions or events.

Where can I find housing information for the meeting?
The AAOS official housing vendor is onPeak, and MCI USA for international attendees and groups. Visit www.aaos.org/housing for more details.

What is the Gold Registration Package?
The Gold Registration Package adds the AAOS 2022 Annual Meeting On Demand product to your meeting registration to gain access to an online library with hours of educational content from the 2022 meeting. Revisit sessions you attended and participate in those you missed anytime, anywhere. Plus, earn up to 100 CME credits. You must attend the AAOS Annual Meeting to take advantage of this offer. Content will not be live-streamed during the meeting.

How can I get a letter of invitation from AAOS for visa purposes?
International attendees that require visas to travel to the United States can request invitation letters from AAOS. These letters do not guarantee that visas will be approved but can be presented with your visa application process and may be required by the U.S. consulate in some countries. Submit your request for the official AAOS Invitation Letter.

How can I get ADA assistance?
AAOS will consider the requests of persons with disabilities for reasonable modifications of policies, practices and procedures or for auxiliary aids and services where necessary to provide access to AAOS facilities, events, services and products. AAOS encourages that such requests be made as soon as possible to enhance AAOS’s ability to accommodate the requests. All ADA requests for the AAOS 2021 Annual Meeting should be submitted by March 9, 2022.
