What Is the AAOS Resident Bowl?
The AAOS Resident Bowl is a fun, social event held during the AAOS Annual Meeting. Orthopaedic residents team up to compete in a live trivia challenge featuring orthopaedic and general knowledge questions. It’s a great way to test your skills, connect with peers, enjoy free food and drinks, and win exciting prizes!
The 2027 Resident Bowl will take place Thursday, March 4, from 1:45-3:15 p.m.
How to Sign Up for the Resident Bowl at AAOS 2027
Step 1: Register for AAOS Annual Meeting
Registration opens on November 2. Register for the Annual Meeting prior to signing up for the Resident Bowl. CME credit not available for this event.
Step 2: Add Resident Bowl to Your Registration
During AAOS 2027 registration, add the Resident Bowl to your registration. You can sign up with a team of fellow residents or register individually and be assigned to a team.
Step 3: Invite Your Friends to Watch
There will be additional seating for an audience, so please encourage others who may not be participating in the Resident Bowl to attend and cheer you and your team on!
AAOS Resident Bowl Prizes
Beyond bragging rights, the winners will receive the following prizes:
- First Place: Free registration to either the Part I or Part II Board Prep and Review Course, a $100 Amazon gift card for each player, and an invitation to the President’s Reception on Thursday night.
- Second Place: Discounted rate of 50% off either the Part I or Part II BPR course of their choice and a $50 Amazon gift card foreach player.
