AAOS 2026: MY01 Named 2026 OrthoPitch Winner

NEW ORLEANS (March 4, 2026)—The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) named MY01 the winner of its third annual OrthoPitch Competition during the AAOS 2026 Annual Meeting in New Orleans. Through the competition, AAOS, the world’s largest medical association of musculoskeletal specialists, aims to fuel innovation and foster advancements with the potential to transform or improve existing standards of orthopaedic care.

MY01, a company specializing in the management of compartment syndrome, presented its novel tool the Continuous Perfusion Sensing Technology (CPST) Platform, which turns complex biologic signs into dynamic, real-time data allowing for an earlier, more confident diagnosis of compartment syndrome.

“Compartment syndrome is a completely preventable complication that occurs because of a lack of technology. That is the gap MY01 fills,” said Andrew Morris, Chief Commercial Officer of MY01, during the live pitch event. “Clinicians are put in an impossible situation because they are relying on variable, highly subjective clinical exams.”

The CPST Platform provides real-time pressure data that is shared across the clinical team. This objective information allows for earlier interventions and better outcomes.

According to Daniel B. F. Saris, MD, PhD, who participated on the OrthoPitch judging panel, “MY01 has a very innovative device that does continuous pressure monitoring using real-time data and an AI-based algorithm to predict and help the decision-making process around compartment syndrome. Compartment syndrome is currently in the public eye because of Lindsey Vonn’s accident at the Olympics. The idea of having a continuous pressure measurement device to help clinical management in acute patient care is very impressive and I look forward to the progress they make in the future.”

Presented by AAOS, OrthoPitch kicked off in 2024 with a call for companies to submit a new technology or product concept with a focus on its impact on the practice of medicine and patient care. Each year, the AAOS Committee on Devices, Biologics and Technology (DBT) conducts a multi-staged review process focusing on ease to market, reimbursement coverage, impact on market and commercialization. The top four submissions are invited to pitch their concept in front of a live audience and a panel of regulatory, reimbursement and commercialization experts, physicians, and investors during the AAOS Annual Meeting. Audience participants also played a part in the winner selection.

This year’s finalists were CLARO Surgical, MY01, Sonogen Medical, and StabilityIQ.

“The field of orthopaedics is ripe for innovations related to robotics, advanced biomaterials, AI-driven solutions, and more that can be harnessed by surgeons and the clinical care team to improve precision, efficiency, and patient outcomes,” said Jason L. Dragoo, MD, FAAOS, program emcee and chair of the DBT Committee. “Now in its third year, OrthoPitch finalists are faced with audience members and judges that are looking for not only a cutting-edge product, but a creative, engaging, and well thought out pitch. OrthoPitch provides a unique opportunity for innovators to showcase their product and get live feedback, and this year’s finalists did not disappoint.”

MY01 joins 2024 winner CytexOrtho, with its ReNewTM Hip implant, and the 2025 winner Visie, which won last year’s competition with its Continuous Anatomic Auto Tracking (CAAT) system.

As grand prize winner, MY01 may receive:
