The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons’ (AAOS) family of registries’ mission is to improve orthopaedic care through the collection, analysis, and reporting of actionable data. In 2019, AAOS continued to build participation and engagement for its cornerstone registry, the American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR), while also growing the program in new directions.

Click here for the latest registry program updates, including:

  • Two new reports based on clinical data on hip and knee arthroplasty patient outcomes as part of the AJRR;
  • The first Shoulder & Elbow Registry annual report;
  • Background about recently launched American Spine Registry, a partnership with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS);
  • Highlights about the newly expanded Musculoskeletal Tumor Registry, which aims to fill a gap in current sarcoma care.
