Registry Oversight Committee

Overall Mission/Purpose

The purpose of the Registry Oversight Committee is to oversee the AAOS Registry Program; develop policies for new registry additions and relationships with external organizations including societies, industry, and vendors; and review the work of the steering committees reporting to the Registry Oversight Committee.

    • (1) Immediate past chair of the AJRR Steering Committee
    • (1) Previous service as non-AJRR Registry Chair or Steering Committee Member

Term of Office

  • AAOS Representatives serve 3-year terms with the option for a second term
  • Liaison roles serve 2-year terms with the option for a second term
  • Terms shall be staggered so that not all members roll off at once
  • Registry Committee Chair service coincides with ROC appointment
