Participation in the AAOS Combined NOLC/Fall Meeting is by invitation only. Attendees include members of the AAOS Board of Directors, Board of Councilors, Board of Specialty Societies, the AAOS Leadership Institute Level 4, the Resident Assembly Executive Committee, the Political Action Committee of the AAOS, and the Advocacy Council.
Additionally, members may attend as designated representatives of their state or specialty societies, as identified and submitted by those societies. Please contact governance@aaos.org for more information.
Registration Types
All participants involved in any Combined NOLC/Fall Meeting activities are expected to register. This ensures AAOS can accurately document member participation.
AAOS offers two registration options. Please note that the registration costs apply only to individuals whose expenses are not covered by AAOS.
- Full Meeting Registration: This option provides access to all educational, advocacy, and social programming. It includes:
- Hill Visit Trainings
- Capitol Hill Visits
- Capitol Hill Debrief
- All Educational Symposia (CME credit available)
- All Advocacy Activities:
- All Group Meals and Social Events (Excludes Orthopaedic PAC Capitol Club Reception)
- Advocacy Track Registration:This option has a reduced rate designed for attendees participating only in advocacy activities. This track includes:
- Sunday, September 14th | 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. ET - Dinner and Hill Visit Training
- Monday, September 15th | 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. ET - Lunch / Hill Visit Overview
- Tuesday, September 16 th | 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. ET - Breakfast
- Tuesday, September 16th | 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET - Capitol Hill Visits
- Tuesday, September 16 th I 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. ET - Capitol Hill Debriefing
Note: This track does not include educational symposia or other meal functions held Monday through Wednesday. No CME credit is offered.
Travel and Hotel Accommodations
AAOS covers travel and hotel expenses for members in certain groups. If you belong to one of these groups, your registration email will include additional instructions.

- Housing Deadline: Friday, August 15, 2025
- All attendees will receive the link to the hotel’s room block via their registration email. Access to the room block is available only to members who are registered for the meeting.
- All attendees, including BOC and BOS members, should make hotel reservations as early as possible. Rooms are limited and likely to fill quickly.
- A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation.
Travel:
The closest airport is Reagan National Airport (DCA) approximately 10 minutes from the JW Marriott by cab, shuttle, or Metro.
