Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

Explain the pathophysiology of musculoskeletal infections, including host immune response, biofilm formation, and factors contributing to infection persistence.

Apply evidence-based diagnostic strategies, integrating clinical evaluation, laboratory testing, imaging, and biopsy/culture techniques.

Implement current treatment approaches, including antimicrobial therapy, surgical interventions (e.g., debridement, implant removal), and local or adjuvant therapies to optimize outcomes.

Manage complications and prevent recurrence, utilizing interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered strategies to improve overall care.
