Residents: Level Up Your Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Skills
This course is designed for residents (PGY 1-5) to expand their surgical skills for hip and knee arthroplasty. Attendees will broaden their knowledge and enhance their technical skills in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty. This course offers a blend of lectures and hands-on labs, featuring 6+ hours of interactive cadaveric dissection under the guidance of world-class arthroplasty faculty.
Engaging lectures, lively faculty panels, and case discussions round out your experience, covering important topics including:
- Arthroplasty principles
- Surgical anatomy
- Implant design
- Preoperative planning and templating
- Perioperative protocols
- Revision TKA and THA

- Cadaveric dissection to learn primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty techniques using implants from a variety of different companies
- Preoperative planning and templating for hip and knee arthroplasty procedures, including implant identification tips
