How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
AAOS has helped me with the structure of formation on what an orthopaedic surgeon should be and provides a platform with education to help us continue improving our patient care.

As an Active Fellow Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
As an Active Fellow, I have benefited from access to online education, and I also help as part of the task force for the Orthopaedic Video Theater.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
The best advice I was given was from Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship mentor, Dr. Kevin Plancher, and it was related to the care of every patient with all the attention and resources possible.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
My productivity trick is treating all referring physicians in the best way possible and help the community with ER coverage and saying “yes” and “thank you”!

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
I am trying to make a habit of eating healthier!

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Triathlons, cycling, camping, off-roading, and baseball.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
My passion is the field of shoulder arthroplasty where we continue to treat patients at all levels of complexity. The mentorship and teachings of Dr. J. Zuckerman, Thomas Wright, Howard Routman and Buz Burkhead has been crucial in my development as a shoulder arthroplasty surgeon.
