How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
The AAOS has been a source of lifelong learning and my membership, and the meetings have allowed me to connect with colleagues and benefit from courses. We were proud and super happy to be the winners of the 3 hottest topics at the Academy’s meeting.
As an Associate Orthopaedic Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
The learning center, the education videos, and the possibility to connect with other members at meetings and online.
What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
“He who shares make more happen” from my PhD supervisor.
And from my parents, “Find something that you love and inspires you and enjoy doing your best at making it better.”
Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know.
When I was 21, I spent a total of 2 years camping around Europe in a VW bus on vacations. That is probably why I love fixing up my big rage airstream and look forward to taking it around and exploring the natural beauty of the USA.
