How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
The AAOS has been a great source of orthopaedic knowledge throughout my career providing me with the platform to learn new techniques and extend my professional network. I have been attending the AAOS Annual Meetings since 2010 with the opportunity to present research work, learn about innovative surgical techniques and exchange experience and knowledge with world-renowned orthopaedic surgeons.

As an Affiliate Orthopaedic Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I use multiple resources from AAOS to expand my orthopaedic knowledge. The Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (JAAOS) provides comprehensive review articles of complex orthopaedic pathologies I take advantage of webinars and Instructional Course Lectures books for up-to-date orthopaedic information. Watching videos from OVT is helpful for learning different surgical techniques from all over the world orthopaedic surgeons

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
From my fellowship mentor, Dr. Dean Sotereanos, “Be prepared for the surgery, pay attention to details and do a great job treating the patients as your family members”.

And from my parents, “Find something that you love and do your best to make it better.”

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Work hard and manage your time effectively with pre-operative planning.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Regular workout exercise.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Traveling and painting.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I enjoy watching cooking master classes although I rarely cook.
