How has AAOS helped throughout your career?
AAOS has been an incredible source of information and education resources. I have enjoyed the home study programs and especially the Patient Education resources.

As an Allied Member, which AAOS resources do you use the most and why?
I use the Patient Education and Rehabilitation Exercise handouts multiple times daily. The patient education handouts and exercises are so well written and an excellent resource for patients as they go through treatment. These handouts are a critical part of my daily clinic visits.

What's the best advice you were given? Who was it from?
The best advice I ever received was not verbal but expressed via example. My parents were incredibly hardworking, honest, and benevolent human beings. I learned so much from the way they lived their lives. They always treated everyone with kindness and respect and were willing to help whenever needed. The underlying message that I took from my parents was to treat others the way that I would want my family, friends, and myself to be treated. My practice style is guided by this ethos.

What's your productivity trick?
I don't really have any tricks for productivity. I simply put my head down and tackle every clinic with the most energy and professionalism as possible.

What's one thing you're currently trying to make a habit?
I am trying to work on remaining calm and rolling with whatever issues occur during the day. I am trying to "not sweat the small stuff."

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
I love running and participate in ultramarathons. I just completed the Kettle Moraine 100-mile ultramarathon. I also enjoy watching movies and especially enjoy movies based on a true story.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself not many people know.
I am a closet birder. I love watching birds!
