How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
AAOS has been a great resource for networking and other opportunities within orthopaedics. I have used numerous resources from the AAOS website or e-mails sent.

As an Allied member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I most commonly use the Clinic Practice Guidelines as it is a quick, reliable resource. I feel like AAOS resources are commented on frequently at conferences, too.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
The best advice I have ever been given is, “Nothing great was ever found in your comfort zone.” I am not sure who it was from, but this helps me to be confident in numerous areas of life and work.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Waking up early to get things done! It makes me feel like I have accomplished so much in the day, and it sets the tone for the day.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Always drinking at least 8 ounces of water in the AM before I have my coffee.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
I enjoy working out, walking, reading, hanging out with my nephews, and spending time with the rest of my family and friends.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I figure skated for 11 years, and then coached figure skating for three years.
