How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
Living and working in a conflict-affected and resource-limited area, AAOS has provided me with an invaluable gateway to high-quality educational resources, evidence-based surgical updates, and global networking opportunities with experts and colleagues that would otherwise be beyond my reach.

As an International Resident Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I frequently use AAOS journals, webinars, online learning modules, and especially the Orthopaedic Video Theater. The Video Theater is my go-to resource because it offers practical demonstrations and up-to-date knowledge that directly enhance my surgical practice.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
“A good surgeon must constantly advance his scientific knowledge, refine his surgical skills, and actively contribute to research.” This timeless advice was given to me by my mentor, Mr. Mahboub Al-Hashimi.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
I boost my productivity by organizing my tasks. Each evening, I prepare a structured plan for the following day to stay focused and efficient.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
I am working on making daily scientific writing and continuous exploration of new studies and research a habit, to strengthen both my surgical practice and academic productivity.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, reading novels, and playing chess.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
Not many people know that I am a good goalkeeper.
