Senior Resident
4th Department of Orthopaedics, KAT General Hospital, Athens, Greece

As an International Resident Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I regularly use JAAOS and OVT which I find extremely helpful in everyday clinical practice.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
My grandmother used to tell me that true success in life is when people remember you with a smile after you are gone. I try to keep that in mind every day of my life. It would be a success for me too if I accomplished this the way she did.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Very few people are fortunate enough to align their dreams with their work. My passion drives me to be more productive than I was the day before and I feel lucky to have that.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
I actively try to stay in touch with people that are important to me. Our line of work can overwhelm and alienate us.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
I enjoy reading about astronomy and astrophysics. Realizing how little we know about the universe helps me to get a different and more grounded perspective on life.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I have attended a film directing school.
