How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
Thanks to the resources that AAOS has made available to me, I was able to acquire new knowledge and complete my cursus. AAOS allowed me to improve my career.

As a member, which AAOS resources do you use must and why?
I have used a lot of OVT, Journals of AAOS, and Resident Orthopaedic Core Knowledge. They are easily accessible.

What’s the best advice you were ever given?
“To move a mountain, you must start by moving the small stones.” - Dr Scott D. Nelson.

If you want to achieve great things in life, you have to start with the smallest steps.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Always listen to my elders because their experiences and advice have helped me a lot to be productive.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
I practice a lot of sports, especially running. I’m used to going to the mountains just to walk because an important thing for me is to reduce cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Read some articles and listen to the AAOS podcast. Also, listen to Haitian music!

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I have a first name in my country that is close to female name “ Daphney “. When I was in medical school, I was always stressed when we were going to say my name because it made other students laugh.
