How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
AAOS is a world leader and reference in promoting the highest standards in orthopedic care, and patient care/safety. Being involved as an International Resident Member of AAOS has helped me significantly, in keeping my orthopedic knowledge up to date with the latest guidelines and also by creating a space where professionals from around the Globe meet and share experience and science.

As an International Resident Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I try to be as comprehensive as possible, however, I am regular with the AAOS journals and the operating videos service.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
Throughout the training, I was given a lot of advice, but one that sticks in my mind and I try to fulfill and live by, was given to me by a very close mentor and my fellowship supervisor Mr. Arash Taheri who told me, "To be successful always be humble enough to learn from others and from your mistakes, be dynamic enough to accommodate new techniques or methods, and critical to judge the scientific data and teach, at the end of the day we are all life long students in our profession."

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
I'm always driven to achieve and give more, by being goal-oriented, having a plan of action with clear objectives makes it easy to be productive. Listening to specific music frequencies always helps me to be efficient and productive in setting such plans.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Currently, I am trying to make self-growth on all levels, both in my professional and personal life a priority, and willing to adopt the necessary habits to make it happen.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
During my spare time, I enjoy playing sports and reading.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
Everyone that knows me knows I enjoy watching the series Friends every now and then for good comedy and laugh, however, very few know I have never completed watching all the seasons and episodes.
