How has the AAOS helped you throughout your career?
AAOS has been a central educational platform during my residency. It provides structured, evidence-based resources that I use to guide clinical decisions and improve surgical planning. It helps me make better decisions and align my work with international best practices. It also connects me to a global orthopaedic community.

As an International Resident Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I use the Orthopaedic Video Theater and clinical guidelines most. The videos help translate theory into surgical practice. The guidelines provide clear, evidence-based recommendations that I apply daily in trauma care.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
“It is acceptable to make a mistake, but never the same mistake twice,” from my head of department. It shaped my approach to responsibility, learning, and accountability in surgery.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
I keep a structured calendar and a prioritized task list with clear deadlines and reminders. It helps me stay organized and maintain consistency in a busy clinical schedule.

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Daily reading of orthopaedic literature. Even a short, focused session improves long-term knowledge and decision making.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Gym, playing tennis, and watching soccer/football.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
I enjoy studying films and cinema. I like analyzing storytelling, structure, and visual detail.
