I have always admired AAOS for its high standards and commitment to research, evidence-based medicine, and physician education. It has inspired me to strive for excellence by following these principles. Having the opportunity to contribute to studies published in JAAOS was a significant milestone in my career.
As an International Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I frequently rely on JAAOS, ROCK, and Clinical Practice Guidelines because they provide access to top-tier evidence, enabling me to offer the best possible care to my patients.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Who was it from?
"Do your job right, be honest, and everything else will follow." This invaluable advice came from my former mentor, now a dear friend and colleague - Dr. Paulo Britto.
What’s your go-to productivity trick?
I practice yoga and meditation, especially on days when I anticipate challenging cases or a particularly demanding schedule.
What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
Early morning exercise.
What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
Reading and watching and playing soccer.

I once participated in tryouts for professional soccer teams!
