How has AAOS helped you throughout your career?
I have been an international member since 1998. It has provided me with study materials, and I have attended many meetings to increase my knowledge in the specialty and learn about new technologies every time I attend the annual meeting.
As an international member, what AAOS resources do you use most frequently and why?
My most frequently used resource is JAAOS for daily review.
What is the best advice you have received? Who gave it to you?
The best advice was given to me by my father, Juan Carlos Abraham PhD, now deceased. He told me: "Keep studying every day. Listen attentively to patients because they are in pain."
What is your favorite productivity trick?
Good treatment and cordiality.
What are you trying to turn into a habit?
Reading and research.
What hobbies do you enjoy in your free time?
Spending time with my children and grandchildren. Watching or listening to my favorite soccer team on television.
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that not many people know.
I am a collector of Argentine postage stamps and numismatics. This broadens knowledge of the world, provides general culture, and constant learning.
