Each year, AAOS invites Active Fellows to help shape the future direction of the AAOS by participating in the AAOS balloting process.
Online Voting Process
Our online voting process is designed to be quick, secure, and confidential. If you are an AAOS Active Fellow and have an email address on file with AAOS, you will receive a personalized email when balloting opens. The email includes a link to your ballot.
Business for the Ballot
The online ballot has information on each of the Fellows nominated to serve on the AAOS Nominating Committee per the AAOS Policy and Procedure – Appoint-Elect Nominating Committee Members. The Nominating Committee will be responsible for recommending the candidates to the AAOS Board of Directors for the open positions on the 2027 Board of Directors. Active Fellows may vote on up to two (2) candidates.
Vote – Active Fellows Elected to Nominating Committee – At least ten (10) percent of Active Fellows must vote, and those four individuals who receive the greatest number of votes shall be considered elected.
