Overall Purpose/Mission

Identify and recommend individuals for election to certain AAOS leadership volunteer positions.

 

Charges

  1. Align all activities to support execution and achievement of the mission, vision, goals, strategic objectives and metrics of the Strategic Plan and conduct all business in accordance with the Core Values as adopted by the Board of Directors.
  2. Review and make recommendations on all positions to be filled in accordance with Paragraph 10.2 of the Association Bylaws.

Reports to the Fellowship

 

Composition

Chair, appointed by the Association Board of Directors

Five (5) Members, elected by Fellowship ballot

One (1) Member, elected jointly by the Board of Councilors and Board of Specialty Societies

 

Term of Office

One (1) year term. Ineligible to serve on the Nominating Committee for another three (3) years or if previously elected three (3) or more times.
