The AAOS offers me the possibility of staying up-to-date through its online resources and theoretical and practical courses. It also allows me to establish academic and research collaborations with other member partners.

As an International Member, which AAOS resources do you use most and why?
I believe there are two resources I use most: The AAOS journal to update my knowledge and online academic resources.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
The best professional advice I've received is to teach what I've learned to others (Prof. Joan Carles Monllau) and to try to help each patient as much as possible (Prof. Jorge Gutiérrez de la O).

What’s your go-to productivity trick?
My productivity trick is to maintain a very organized schedule to fulfill my clinical, academic, and research responsibilities. 

What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
I'm currently trying to make daily physical activity a habit.

What hobbies do you enjoy in your spare time?
In my free time, I listen to audiobooks and practice cycling and tennis.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that not many people know?
Not many people know that for a while I considered specializing in internal medicine and then opted for orthopaedic surgery.
