The Musculoskeletal Tumor Registry (MsTR) is part of the AAOS Registry Program and has gathered data from more than 2,000 procedures related to bone and soft tissue sarcomas across various regions of the body.
The MsTR helps clinicians and health systems track complications, functional outcomes, and quality of life in patients treated for sarcoma. Together, we’re paving the way toward better care and, ultimately, a cure.

Data Submission
Participating sites may submit data utilizing an AAOS Registry Program Authorized Vendor. While MsTR is electronic health record agnostic, Epic SmartForms are available that allow surgeons to input exclusive data concerning their sarcoma patients at the point of care. The SmartForms help enahnce and standardize the data within the Registry by collecting data that cannot be extracted from the EHR automatically. Visit the data submission page for details on elements collected, Epic SmartForms, and support resources.
