Objectives & CME Credits

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify select (and controversial) forefoot, midfoot, hindfoot, and ankle disorders (congenital, acquired, and traumatic), and form strategic evidence-based management plans.
  2. Use the internal algorithmic approach required to assess select forefoot/midfoot/hindfoot/ankle disorders through didactic instruction, multiple case analyses with positive and negative outcomes.
  3. Execute surgical (and non-surgical) solutions to current topics of interest in foot and ankle surgery and learn to develop successful salvage strategies.
  4. Compare multiple faculty opinions concerning selected lecture topics through panel discussions in order to further analyze, support, or reject individual lecturer opinions on defining and managing of assigned topics.
  5. Implement surgical techniques through direct instruction from expert faculty in a low faculty-attendee ratio.
