Medical Student Membership is Coming to AAOS on October 5!

For the first time in the 90-year history of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, we are excited to announce that, starting October 5, Medical Students will be able to officially join the Academy!  

To be eligible to become a Medical Student Member, an individual must meet all the following requirements:  

  • Is enrolled in a medical school accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, the American Osteopathic Association, the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada, or the World Federation for Medical Education; and  
  • Have an interest in pursuing a career in orthopaedics
