Discover Actionable Data with AAOS RegistryInsights®

AAOS Registry Program participants have access to the AAOS RegistryInsights® platform. This resource allows your site to view the data for all your AAOS orthopaedic registries in one place. Inform your decision-making with RegistryInsights reports and dashboards!

Visualize Data with Dashboards

There are two AAOS RegistryInsights dashboards: the Institution Dashboards and Surgeon Dashboards.

Institution Dashboards provide an individual at your site - the “Authorized User” - with unlimited access to the data your site has submitted. This user will have the capability to search your data, run reports, and compare your site and/or health system to national benchmarks. It includes procedural, post-operative, and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) dashboards with site and national views.

The Surgeon Dashboards provide a personalized dashboard and summarized status of your surgeons’ procedural, post-operative, and PROMs data so they can compare it against national benchmarks. They can use this information for required reporting to quality improvement initiatives, including the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery’s (ABOS) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.

Reporting Made Easy

In addition to the dashboards, RegistryInsights offers several standard reports across all anatomical registries at the site and surgeon level that cover procedural, post-operative, and PROMs data. Also available is access to custom reports created by our Analytics team to help understand and package site data. These custom reports can include site-specific metrics and help shape the continuous improvements to the standard reports provided.

Other RegistryInsights Advantages

  • An unlimited number of users can submit data securely to gain insight into the accuracy of the data submission process. Users can view issues with the files their site uploaded, allowing for more accuracy and transparency into their site’s data integrity. Once the files are correctly submitted, the data is visible on the platform within 48 hours.
  • Access a patient-reported outcome (PRO) portal to administer and manage PRO surveys.
  • Reuse RegistryInsights data to help meet quality initiatives like the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Promoting Interoperability category and the Quality Payment Program (QPP).
  • Utilize a useful Tools & Resources tab with instructional documents.
